Valentine’s Day Ideas
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! I feel like society has marketed this holiday to only be enjoyed if you’re in a relationship and really like receiving chocolates and flowers.
But, I firmly believe that it’s a holiday that can and should be enjoyed by anyone. It’s a holiday focused on love and you do not need another person to make you feel loved. You have the ability to shower yourself in all the love you desire. So, I hope this Valentine’s Day you do something that makes your heart smile, whatever that might look like for you.
Whether you’re single, married, staying in, or going out I’ve put together a range of fun options of how you can enjoy your Valentine’s Day this year:
Order a Take & Make meal from a local restaurant
If you’re a Minneapolis local, check out the below link for a lot of Minneapolis restaurants offering make at home options:
Brunch (it falls on a Sunday!)
Light a candle & take a bath while you read or watch your go-to Netflix show
Put on your fave PJ’s and have a game night (can even be virtual!)
Schedule a massage for yourself
Sign up for a virtual wine or cocktail tasting class
There are lots of options, but check out the below link for one option:

Put on your favorite playlist & list out everything you love and appreciate about yourself and/or your partner
Get your endorphins flowing with some activity – walk/run outside, ice skate, bike, snowshoe, etc.
If you’re a Minneapolis local, check out the below link for free snowshoe rentals and outdoor films at the Walker Art Center

Book a night at a hotel for a mini staycation
Sign up for a cooking class
Make this Valentine’s Day focused on extending love and care not only to others, but also to yourself. Why? Because you are beyond beautiful and magnificently worthy of it.
Sending you happy and healthy hugs,
Tess
